Director and founding principal of Bayside Solicitors since 1998, Ashley Tickner is a Barrister and Solicitor specialising in criminal law, with additional expertise in industrial relations and construction law. He has personally appeared in over 3500 police and criminal cases—ranging from Magistrates’ Court hearings to jury trials and appeals in County Court, as well as matters before VCAT. Ashley is deeply committed to vigorous advocacy for his clients and regularly mentors junior members of the criminal team on complex matters. Ashley earned his LL.B. from the University of Melbourne, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law, Victoria. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 1998.
