Anika Waldin

Criminal Defence Lawyer

Joining our team in 2021, Anika Waldin is a criminal defence lawyer with a unique prosecutorial background. Prior to coming to Bayside Solicitors, she worked as a prosecutor—giving her a deep understanding of how the Crown approaches cases and allowing her to anticipate and counteract the prosecution’s strategy. Before entering the legal profession, Anika spent over five years as a support worker, assisting elderly, disabled, and mentally-ill community members. That experience cultivated her empathy and reinforced her commitment to giving a voice to vulnerable people facing criminal or intervention-order proceedings.
